Alexia hails from a musical family and has been brought up around music. Her first experiences with singing were onstage with her aunt and one of her first solo performances was on ‘What a Wonderful World’ on a charity album at age 4. Though studying at the University of Glasgow and graduating with MA Politics and Theatre Studies degree, Alexia has a strong musical theatre background; performing in a national run of Annie (2008) and locally as Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes (2018), Grease (2017) and Pippin (2020).
As a student of music, Alexia has accomplished grades in both Trinity Guildhall and ABRSM, as well as winning singing competitions and receiving the Rodge Family Visual and Performing Arts Award (2019) As a vocalist, Alexia has been invited to sing in Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou (China), Hanoi (Vietnam), New York City as well as across Korea. She continues to collaborate with her aunt, singing Jazz, after featuring on her Grammy Award nominated and Swiss Jazz award winning Album, Chasing Hope (2009).
In addition to singing, Alexia is a graded pianist, plays the double bass and has experience in songwriting as well as choreography.
